Bazaar shopping needs to change: why was 2bazar created?
We do not want to change the bazaar itself. We want to change the time, effort and uncertainty people spend simply getting to it.

The people, products and decisions behind the market

Everyone knows this situation: a list is prepared at home. A few products are needed—some for the kitchen, some for the house, and some for the coming days. Then comes the journey: traffic, parking, long distances, crowds, asking for prices, comparing offers, negotiating, and finally carrying heavy bags back home.
Bazaar shopping is not always simply about “buying the things you need.” It can mean planning, setting aside time, searching for each product, speaking to several sellers, and carrying everything home. Sometimes this process takes more energy than the purchase itself.
2bazar was created from this observation.
We do not believe the bazaar is unnecessary. On the contrary, the bazaar is an important part of daily life, commerce and product variety in Azerbaijan. But people should not have to make that entire journey every time they need to buy something.
Our idea is simple: people need bazaar products, but they should not have to travel to the bazaar, search for products, learn prices and negotiate every time.
In bazaar shopping, the biggest difficulty is often not that a product does not exist. The problem is the work required to obtain it.
A person leaves home, spends time travelling, searches for products, approaches different sellers, asks for prices, compares offers and often negotiates separately for each item. Then they carry the products they have bought and return home.
For people who work, manage a household or have limited free time, this can become a serious burden. Shopping is meant to meet an everyday need, but it can sometimes become the most tiring part of the day.
Price is another important issue. The price of a product may not be the same everywhere. Customers cannot always know whether a price is reasonable. This makes decision-making harder.
2bazar wants to address this problem not by eliminating the bazaar, but by reducing the unnecessary work involved in accessing it.
2bazar’s goal is not simply to deliver products to customers. Our goal is to make shopping require less effort from beginning to end.
For the customer, this means several practical differences:
This does not mean that every purchase must be made online. Some people enjoy walking through the bazaar, while others only go on certain days. 2bazar creates another option alongside that choice: the ability to manage bazaar shopping more easily when needed.
Technology can make shopping easier. But simply saying “place an order and a courier will bring it” is not enough.
Real convenience begins before the customer chooses a product. The customer should be able to understand what is available, what it costs and what they can choose.
For this reason, 2bazar aims to present bazaar products in a clearer digital format, make selection easier and manage the ordering process in a more organized way.
Instead of travelling to the bazaar and searching for every product, the customer can browse the available selection on 2bazar, see prices and choose what they need. We take responsibility for the coordination work behind the scenes: sourcing the product, preparing the price and organizing the order.
This is an attempt to bring the bazaar closer to home. More precisely, it is an attempt to make the useful part of the bazaar more accessible to the customer.
The process should be as simple as possible for the customer:
One of the most important parts of this process is preparing prices in advance.
In traditional bazaar shopping, customers often approach several sellers, ask for prices and negotiate. 2bazar aims to do this work before the customer places an order. The goal is for customers to see the price before ordering and avoid repeating the same negotiation for every item.
This does not mean that every product will always be cheaper than anywhere else. That would not be a realistic promise, and we do not make it.
Our purpose is clearer: the customer should know the price before ordering, make choices more easily, and face less uncertainty in the shopping process.
Delivery matters. But for the customer, the real question is not whether a package is on its way. It is: will I receive the right product, at a clear price, without problems?
That is why 2bazar focuses on organizing the process from finding the product to coordinating the order. The customer makes the choice; we handle the coordination.
This distinction matters because having a product delivered does not automatically make the shopping experience good. The product must be right, the price must be clear, the order must be managed properly, and the customer should not be left dissatisfied with the process.
2bazar’s goal is not to leave traditional bazaars—or the people who work in them—behind.
Bazaars are more than one part of commerce. They are important workplaces for sellers, small business owners, suppliers and families. Bazaars preserve product variety, personal relationships, real-life browsing and the human side of shopping. For many people, the bazaar is not just a place to buy things; it is a familiar space and part of daily life.
We do not want to change that.
2bazar aims to build a bridge between bazaar commerce and modern customer expectations. Digital organization can help products become easier to discover, make choices clearer, and give sellers another way to reach customers.
But we must be careful here: we do not claim that we have already built a large seller network or delivered measurable benefits to sellers. That is a long-term direction. Our first responsibility is to build a reliable, simple and useful experience.
People do not trust a service merely because they see advertisements. Trust is created when the service delivers what it promised.
For 2bazar, this means a few simple principles:
We do not claim that all of these standards have already been solved perfectly. They are standards that 2bazar is building and must continue to improve.
2bazar does not begin as a perfect system. But the promises we make to customers must be clear.
We want customers to understand the price, delivery terms and any existing limitations before placing an order. If a product is unavailable, we should say so openly rather than hide it. If there is a problem with an order, the customer should not be left without information or support.
We also do not promise the “lowest price.” Bazaar prices can change, and every seller’s offer may be different. Our goal is simpler: the customer should understand what they are buying and what they will pay before placing an order.
This approach reduces one of the most important questions in shopping: “Is this price fair?” When customers can see the price in advance, making a decision becomes easier.
2bazar does not begin as an open marketplace immediately available to every seller.
In the first stage, we aim to manage key parts of the experience more closely: product selection, supplier coordination, product information, pricing, availability, orders and delivery.
The reason is simple: it is easy to promise customers a huge catalogue. What matters more is whether the customer receives the product they ordered, at the price they expected and in the way they expected. Building a large selection is easy; building a system where every product is presented correctly, available as promised and properly managed requires much more attention.
That is why we begin with a manageable selection, a sound process and gradual development—not with big promises. As supplier relationships, operational capacity and customer demand develop, the service should expand.
In the long term, 2bazar wants to make bazaar shopping a more structured digital experience.
Customers should increasingly be able to discover products without travelling to different places, understand prices before ordering, plan their purchases in one place, easily find familiar products again, and trust the process behind their orders.
This will not happen in one day. But the direction is clear: technology should remove unnecessary work from people’s lives.
Shopping is part of everyday life. But it should not have to be the part of the day that takes the most time and energy.
What the customer needs is the product—not a journey to the entire bazaar, searching for items and negotiating every time.
At 2bazar, we believe this can change.
Don’t go to the bazaar. Let the bazaar come to you.
